Allen is the owner and operator of Taylored Content, which is a content curation company which targets Financial Tech (FinTech), and next generation companies. Taylored Content’s services include white papers, case studies, blog posts, press releases, and even brand journalism editing and content curation.

An award-winning journalist, he's been recognised for news and headline writing, sports writing, and column and editorial writing, but is most proud of the three accolades he received from the Dallas Bar Association for excellence in legal reporting. These were for ongoing series of stories I wrote about Title IX education, eminent domain, and environmental issues.

Allen also has published an E-Book on DIY publishing e-books. Written for anyone who would like to DIY publish their e-books. he recommends e-book publishing for business people as a tool for marketing their businesses, but his book focuses on the nuts and bolts of e-book creation - software to use, step-by-step plans for each e-book format (Kindle, PDF, ePub, etc.), and marketing and distribution.
